IMA Kuwait distributes rations to needy people

Indian Muslim Association, IMA, Kuwait under the patronage of Ministry of Awqaf has been making endless endeavors to reach out the needy and underprivileged people and to help them irrespective of their nationality, race, gender etc.

During the month of August 2021, IMA in coordination with 2 Lajnas / Associations (Human Welfare and Social Organizations in Kuwait) carried out food distribution in Kuwait.

On August 14 th 2021 Al Islah Community Center located in Rawda Block 3, a human welfare & social organization of Kuwait, arranged 200 crates of frozen chicken and 200 packets of frozen meat (3kg packets) for distribution among deserved and needy people through Indian Muslim Association (IMA). Around 20 IMA volunteers from different areas of Kuwait collected the said items and distributed the aid on the same day.

The distribution of the meat and chicken in different zones / Units was as below:

Abbasiya Zone - 30 Nos.
Khaitan Zone - 25 Nos.
Salmiya Zone - 25 Nos.
City Zone - 25 Nos.
Fahaheel Zone - 30 Nos.
Abu-Halifa Zone - 30 Nos.
English Unit - 10 Nos.
Youth Wing Unit - 10 Nos.
Ladies Wing Unit - 10 Nos.
KMWA Unit - 05 Nos.

On August 21 st 2021, The Ensan Charitable Society, another Human Welfare & Social Organization in Kuwait, wanted to distribute food kits among the needy people. The kits consisted of essential food items like rice. pulses, oil, canned food, macaroni, frozen packets of chicken and minced meat etc. The Khidmate-e-Khalq team of the IMA with its 20 volunteers collected the kits from Hateen Area and distributed the kits in various areas in Kuwait on the same day.

The distribution of the Food kits in different zones / Units was as below:

Salmiya Zone - 25 Nos.
City Zone - 30 Nos.
Fahaheel Zone - 30 Nos.
Abu-Halifa Zone - 30 Nos.
English Unit - 15 Nos.
Youth Wing Unit - 15 Nos.
Ladies Wing Unit - 15 Nos.
KMWA Unit - 15 Nos.
Tamil Unit - 15 Nos.
IMA President Mr. Shamvil Parvez, General Secretary Mr. Arshad Habeeb, Joint Secretary Mr. Jaffer Sadiq, IMA Social Service Co-ordinator Mr. Mushtaq Mehdi, & all IMA Zonal Coordinators participated in this food distribution campaign very actively.

Representatives from Al Islah Community Center The Ensan Charitable Society, were also present on the spot to allocate the items & monitor the distribution process.

IMA President Mr. Shamvil Pervez appreciated and encouraged IMA volunteers, who rendered their services for distribution of aid. He also thanked the organizations Al Islah Community Center The Ensan Charitable Society , for their generous contribution in this regard.
