Kuwait Cabinet held weekly meeting; returning to normal life soon

The Kuwait Cabinet held its weekly meeting Monday afternoon at Seif Palace under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister.

Minister of Health Sheikh / Dr. Basil Hammoud Al-Sabah briefed the council on the latest developments in the epidemiological situation of the Corona pandemic in the country, which is witnessing a significant improvement. Minister briefed the positive indicators in the State of Kuwait and the decrease in the number of infection and deaths and for those receiving treatment in Covid wards and intensive care. Minister also explained the success of the vaccination campaign in the country.

The Cabinet expressed its optimism in achieving community immunity and returning to normal life in the State of Kuwait in the near future. Cabinet reiterate its call to citizens and residents to continue adhere to all the health requirements, and to register in the vaccination platform whoever not yet registered.
