Tamilnadu Engineers Forum hosts curtain raiser event & Independence Day cultural competitions

Tamilnadu Engineers Forum, Kuwait conducted the Curtain raiser for its Flag ship programs 1st DOT, 12th TICE and 5th EEA on 20th August 2021 in a virtual format



1.This year Tamilnadu Engineers Forum is organizing world’s first 1st DOT Conclave (Development of Tamilnadu) focused on the development & growth of Tamilnadu in a virtual format scheduled on 12th November 2021



2. TEF is also organizing Kuwait’s 5th Engineering Excellence Award (EEA) which is recognized similar to an Engineering Oscar for Engineering achievements along with another prestigious event the 12th Technological Innovations Conference & Exposition (TICE) scheduled on 11th November 2021



H.E Shri. Sibi George (Indian Ambassador to Kuwait) graced the occasion with his Chief Guest address for the curtain raiser and wished the success of the events and highly appreciated TEF’s unique initiatives in elevating the brand value of Indian Engineers in Kuwait.

TEF’s General Secretary Er. Kishorekumar delivered the welcome address and welcomed the dignitaries and announced the theme of 12th TICE Conference as ‘Sustainable Evolution towards Industry 4.0 – Evolving technologies towards Industrial Transformation and highlighting the importance of such theme apt for this current Industrial transformation phase. Manufacturers, Service Providers who wish to present their Papers in line with the theme can contact the Conference Organizing team through the address as indicated in the TEF webpage for TICE event.

Er.Kishore also addressed the details of the Engineering Excellence awards along with the criteria for submitting the nominations and invited the achievers to submit their nominations through the address as indicated in the TEF webpage for EEA event.

TEF’s President Dr. K. Jeyakumar delivered the Presidential address and briefed about the patriotic background and need for conceptualizing the 1st Development of Conclave in Kuwait with the intention of bringing together all the Tamil people from the entire globe through this Virtual Conclave to discuss the ways and means of contributing to the development of their native land through identifying areas, where all the people can join hands and extend their voluntary support in the infrastructure development, preserving culture & heritage, enhance economic and social performance and prosperity of the land & people accompanied by inclusive growth. People who wish to share their ideas contributing to the development of their native land can submit their papers the address as indicated in the TEF webpage for DOT event.

Past Presidents and Past General Secretaries along with the current President & GS released the brochures of 1st DOT Conclave, 5th EEA, 12th TICE.



Several Government officials from India, Ex. Ministers, MPs, MLAs and Patrons showed their blessings for the grand success of 1st DOT Conclave, 5th EEA, 12th TICE and were amazed to see the efforts of TEF being an NRI association doing meaningful contribution back to the native land and welcomed the creative conceptualization of DOT event with the intention of bringing all the global Tamil people together in a common platform.



Independence Day cultural celebrations with several events was conducted for TEF members & their family members followed by the curtain raiser event. Nearly 100 participants were participated and prize winners for all the events were announced at the end of the event.



Vote of thanks was shared by Eng. N. Dhayalan, Joint Secretary of TEF. Event was flawlessly well coordinated by Eng. Somaskandan, Eng. Kapil Duraisamy and Eng. Makesh.
Eng. Segu Yousef, Treasurer of TEF along with his brother Mr. Ibrahim were instrumental in reaching out the Tamilnadu Government officials and policy decision makers highlighting the efforts of TEF, and the events organized by TEF in Kuwait.
