Independence Day Celebration At Integrated Indian School

Amidst the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and guidelines associated with it, Integrated Indian School celebrated the 75th Indian Independence Day with full zeal and zest. It was celebrated both online and with a limited physical gathering.

The Principal, Mr. Arul Dharmaraj Thomas and the Manager, Mr. Mohammed Ali hoisted the national flag, where everyone stood tall to salute our tricolor flag and felt proud to sing the national anthem. The principal speaking on the occasion, contented that the freedom fighters who laid down their lives for our precious Independence ought never to be forgotten.
A spectacular array of performances like dances, mime, patriotic songs, and speeches were displayed by the students and of all the wings befitting the occasion about the significance of the day. Patriotic song was rendered by a group of teachers, live from the school.

Students and parents witnessed the Independence Day programme of the School live, via Zoom link and Integrated Indian School’s Official Facebook page.

The synchronized display by students despite being in different homes was note worthy. All were caught up in spirit of patriotism and celebrated the day with great fervour creating a deep sense of national pride.The function came to a close with a vote of thanks.
