Verification of vaccination certificate only through electronic link

The Ministry of Health today reiterated that the approval of vaccinations certificates issued abroad is done only through the electronic link specified by the ministry of health. Verification is not done through any offline method at any of the offices, Ministry said.

Ministry of Health has set up a special webpage to upload the vaccination certificates for those who are vaccinated from abroad. A special technical committee is also setup to reviews, approves or rejects these certificates. Once the uploaded vaccination certificate is approved, then the "Immune" app for that user will appear in green color. However due to large volume of submission, the approval process is taking number of days, which cause delay in the return of expatriates to the country.
