IES Bhavans reaps golden success in AISSC, CBSE Grade 12 Board Exam

The twelfth graders of Indian Education School (Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan), Kuwait pulled off the brilliant and loftiest aggregates in the AISSC, CBSE Grade 12 Board Examination 2021, with hundred percent pass for the eleventh year in succession. Of the 109 students who appeared for the CBSE Class XII exams from Indian Education School from various streams, 45 students scored an aggregate of 95% and above, 30 students scored between 90% and 95%, 25 students scored between 80% and 90% and 9 students scored between 70% and 80% in the CBSE examination.

The icing on the cake is the sheer number of toppers produced by Bhavans IES across all the streams. In various subjects we have seventy 99s, twenty-five 98s and forty-two 97s in the CBSE grade 12 examination. This highlights the hallmark of academic brilliance that Bhavans is well known for.

The students of IES euphorically celebrated their stupendous success in the board exams when the results were declared by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. It was indeed impressive of any educational institution to bag 99 in all the subjects across all the streams. The school average for the academic subjects is as follows: English (92.24), Math (92.66), Physics (93.41), Chemistry (93.59), Computer Science (92.60), Biology (95.59), Economics (81.81), Business Studies (86.2), Accountancy (79.96), Geography (93.75), Psychology (93.13), Informatics Practices (88.94), Painting (97), and Physical Education (90.17). The very fact that candidates could score impressively in the AISSC examinations despite the limitations imposed by the pandemic underscores their insatiable hunger for success in their academic pursuits.

Malavika Krishna topped the Science stream with an aggregate of 99%, while Umm E Hani and Manushree Pavan Kumar stood second with 98.6% aggregate, followed by Liana Maria Joseph, Shivanni V, and Varun Menon in the third position with 97.8% aggregate.

In the Commerce Stream, Arundhati Vinod Sharma secured the first position with 98.4% aggregate while Sreenath Prithviraj and Emma Maria Ben scored 97.8% and 97.6% to adorn the second and the third places respectively

In the maiden batch of Humanities stream, Aaron Yohan Thomas bagged the first position with 97.6% aggregate. Neha Ann Daniel secured the second place with 96.6% and Tanisha Ruth Sunil stood in the third position with 93.6% aggregate.

Mr. N.K. Ramachandran Menon, Chairman, Bhavans Middle East, CA Sooraj Ramachandran, Vice Chairman, Bhavans Middle East and CA Divya Rajesh Ramachandran, Director, Bhavans Middle East, applauded the remarkable achievement of the students and extolled the persistent efforts of the teaching fraternity at Indian Education School. Mr. T Premkumar, the Principal and Vice Principals of all the three wings praised the students for their hard work and the teachers for their dedication and tireless efforts. They also attributed the golden harvest to the ever-supporting parent community of IES.

Bhavan IES has once again proved its might and mettle in the field of private education in the sands of Kuwait. Upon asked, Mr. T. Premkumar, principal, IES proudly said that any impediment could be overcome with determination and diligence. The success of Bhavanites in the AISSC examinations is a proud testimony to this never- say- die attitude cultivated among the staff and students of his institution. He added that excellence is not a skill, but it is an attitude at Bhavans, IES.
