3,518 passengers arrive Kuwait on first day of new travel procedure

Directorate General of Civil Aviation announced that the new travel procedure at Kuwait International airport was successfully launched as the first day witnessed 88 flights operation with on the first day, 42 of which were departures a total of 8,541 passengers. 42 flights departed from Kuwait with 5,023 passengers and 46 incoming flights carried 3,518 arriving passengers including large number of expatriates.

Non-Kuwaitis can enter the country after obtaining the approved vaccine in the State of Kuwait, provided that the vaccination certificate is uploaded on the Ministry of Health website and approved by the ministry and the "Immune" application should reflect the same in green color.

DGCA said that a very limited number of incoming non-Kuwaiti passengers who did not meet the conditions of approving the vaccination certificate were returned on the same flight in compliance with the implementation of decisions in this regard.

The DGCA appealed to all incoming non-Kuwaiti passengers to make sure that they fulfill all required conditions before travelling to Kuwait.
