India International Differently Abled Association (IIDAA) officials held a meeting with Indian Ambassador

IIDAA, an Indian Embassy registered voluntary organization for Differently Abled children and Adolescents met with Indian Ambassador H.E Sri. Sibi George on 27th July 2021.

IIDAA, the voluntary committee founded in Kuwait with its mission to help Indian families with special needs of children & adolescents in Kuwait. The team was headed by the President Dr. Shantha Maria James and members Mr. Binoy Sabastian, Mrs.Shiny Frank, Mrs. Nancy Florida, Mrs. Malini Sridhar, Krubhahari Franklin, and Mr. Anthony Gonsalves .

At the meeting, after the introduction of the committee members, the objectives of IIDAA, and suggestions were submitted to His Excellency seeking support for the families with special needs with the help of Indian Embassy along with IIDAA.

Suggestions included arranging separate vaccination facilities in a location apart from public venues to ensure the comfort of special needs children and adolescents with priority, to avail disability identity cards, flexibility on residency criteria age of special needs children, potential job opportunities & training for adolescents, the possibility of having educational & therapy support to help them lead a better life.

The Ambassador gave a keen hearing and acknowledged the need for care to our families with special needs. He gave relevant suggestion and advice and assured of his complete support to the wellbeing of these families.
