Stranded expatriates start arriving in Kuwait

Kuwait International Airport today received a number of expatriates who were stranded abroad for more than a year or more. The first flight with expatriates passengers arrived at Kuwait international airport at 2:45 am today, Sunday, August 1, 2021, from Turkey, carrying dozens of stranded residents.

The majority of the expatriates who arrived today are from Arab countries, including Lebanon, Jordan and other European countries.

The passengers have completed all the necessary procedures, such as getting approval for their vaccine certificate from MoH, PCR, etc. The procedure at the Kuwait airport was smooth, the passengers commented.

Other flights scheduled to arrive in Kuwait today are from Dubai and Doha. Meanwhile, the procedure for the entry of Indians is still not clear whether a 14-day quarantine in a third country is required or not.
