Indian national Elizabeth Lizu Ginu published her first book of poetry titled 'The Changing Mask'

'The Changing Mask' is an anthology of 80 poems, portraying a wide range of themes such as love, despair, faith, happiness, hope and nature. In this book, the poet unveils the true feelings of mankind that is usually hidden behind various shades of masks to please the world.

The hardcopy of the book was launched by the Indian Ambassador His Excellency Sibi George at the Indian embassy on July 28th, 2021. Earlier the book was launched virtually by Dr. K S Radhakrishnan, Former Vice Chancellor of SS University, Sanskrit and Former Chairperson of Kerala Public Service Commission in a symbolically function presided by His Grace Dr. Yakoob Mar Irenaios, Metropolitan of Kochi Diocese. The first copy was received by Prof. Jacob Kurian Onattu. Dr. Paul Manallil, who has written the foreword in this book, congratulated the poet with a felicitation speech.



"Through her lyrical outpour, her verses in love seeks to conquer not only the reader’s heart but to the innermost chambers of the soul. The mantle of poesy falls upon a select few as a bolt from the blue and it has surely fallen on this poet," Dr. K S Radhakrishnan said.

Elizabeth who works as an IT Manager in Kuwait is an avid orator and enthusiastic traveler. She lives in Kuwait with her husband, Mr. Ginu K George and their daughters, Caron and Chrislyn. She is also passionate about music. The Changing Mask is published by Notion Press, Chennai, India.
