Kuwaiti artist Mahmoud Al-Qattan capture India-Kuwait solidarity on canvas

Well known Kuwaiti artist and member of Kuwaiti Arts Association, Mr. Mahmoud Al-Qattan presented a painting capturing the historic moment of Kuwait Tower lit up with Indian national flag to the Indian Embassy.

In an event held at Embassy as part of the Joint fight against Covid-19, Artist Mahmoud Al-Qattan presented his paintings to Indian Ambassador Shri Sibi George.

Earlier on May, iconic Kuwait Tower lighted up with India's tricolor flag to extend Kuwait's support to India on its fight against Covid-19. An image of Kuwait flag and India flag was lighted up on Kuwait tower on Wednesday May 26th to show the strong partnership between India and Kuwait.

Mahmoud Al-Qattan, a retired officer from Kuwait Army and a well-known artist among the citizens, captured the historic moment in his canvas and presented to Indian Embassy as a mark of solidarity between the two countries. Mr Qatan earlier painted Mahatma Gandhi on his canvas and presented to the Indian Embassy.
