MoH completes preparation on new travel procedure from August 1st

Ministry of Health completed all preparations with regard to the new travel procedure for those coming to the country starting from August 1.

The MoH official spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad said that the ministry's coordination with the concerned authorities continues so that the health and security of the country is preserved.

The Ministry has formed a technical committee to audit the certificates of those vaccinated outside the country, which already began its tasks of verification of vaccine certificates from abroad.

Dr. Al-Sanad said that those coming to the country must upload their vaccination certificates on the ministry's website and wait for its approval. The passenger also required to prove the vaccine certificate upon arrival through the electronic verification feature (QR-Code) at the airport. The incoming passenger must have a negative PCR examination certificate taken within 72 hours of travel to proving that he is free of the Corona virus. The passenger also should not have any symptoms such as High temperature, sneezing, cold, cough, etc.

Yesterday, Director General of Civil Aviation Yousef Sulaiman Al Fouzan told IndiansinKuwait.com that direct flights from India is not yet open, but Indians who satisfy all the condition for arrivals can enter the country via any other country without the requirement of quarantine in a third country.
