Decline in new Corona cases in the country

The percentage of new Corona virus infections in Kuwait continue to decline last two day after almost 4 month. On Friday, July 16th, the percentage of new infections reached 8.8 percent, which is the lowest percentage since last February 6. Friday, Kuwait reported 1,263 new cases out of 14,314 swab test. On Thursday, July 15, the percentage of new infections was 9.03 percent with 1,385 new cases out of 15,330 swab test.

On Friday, Kuwait reported 19 deaths, 17 of them 'unvaccinated,' bringing the total number of deaths recorded to 2,193.

1,599 cases of recovery were recorded on Friday, bringing the total number of people recovered to 363,992, indicating that the percentage of total recovery cases out of the total injuries amounted to 94.95 percent.

The number of those receiving medical care in the intensive care departments is 333 cases, while the total number of cases that have been confirmed and are still receiving the necessary care is 17162, and the total number of cases in (Covid 19) wards has reached 1115.
