Corona Emergency Committee approved recruitment of agricultural workers from abroad

The Ministerial Committee for Corona Emergencies approved recruitment of agricultural workers from abroad.

This is in response to the request of Kuwaiti Farmers Union as the farming sector was facing severe shortage of laborer to work in the farm.

The recruitment will be through "Al-Salama" platform by meeting all health and preventive measures.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Farmers’ Union Abdullah Al-Dammak, on behalf of the Board of Directors, thanked the committee for supporting farmers and allowing Kuwaiti farms to bring agricultural labor from abroad to fill the current shortage of farm workers.
