India International School bids Farewell to Sophy John

India International School Mangaf bids Farewell to Principal Mrs Sophy John, who is soon leaving Kuwait and migrating to United States of America. Farewell ceremony for the Principal and five other outgoing staff members, Mr. Prajeesh Balan (Head of Physical Education Dept.), Mrs. Wimala Dona (Cleaning supervisor), Mr. Zainudheen (Maintenance Supervisor), Primary teachers Mrs. Fazluna and Mrs. Mehjabeen was arranged at School Auditorium according to the COVID 19 protocol.





The ceremony started with the recitation of the Holy Quran followed by the welcome speech delivered by Mrs. Indulekha Suresh (Vice Principal). The school Director, Mr. Malayil Moosa Koya presented mementos to the 6 outgoing members. A gift on behalf of the management was presented to Mrs. Sophy John by the Director. Gifts on behalf of the staff were presented by the Vice Principals – Mrs. Indulekha Suresh & Mr. Saleem K. The ceremony also included a speech by Mrs. Jayashanthi (Primary section) and a song by Mr. Suresh K (Higher Secondary Section).





The highlight of the ceremony was a confetti of words bestowed by the Director, through which he shared some memorable moments and experiences with the outgoing members. He thanked each one of them for their contribution and praised them for their sincerity towards the institution. He also blessed them for their future.





The reply speech delivered by each one of the members was filled with emotions which consequently left everyone present there in deep thoughts and tears, as each of them had served the school for a good amount of years.
