“Yoga is a light which once lit will never dim; the better you practice the brighter your fame.” Yoga is an ancient practice in which our mind is connected with our body. It helps our body to relax and meditate. Yoga also connects our body with our soul and also keeps body balanced. Yoga was originated from subcontinent India by some Hinduism and Buddhism followers. Yoga originally comes from Sanskrit word yuj meaning “to unite”. One of the reasons India is famous is because of yoga. Nowadays, many people from other countries practice yoga to lead a happy life. Yoga is classified into many types of karma, bhakti, jnana and Raja Yoga forms. Every year on 21st June we celebrate international Yoga Day all around the world. Yoga helps a person to keep calm and control a behavior. There are many benefits of yoga such as yoga helps your mind to relieve stress and anxiety. People of all age can practice yoga. It also helps us to develop patience and maintain good health. Yoga was founded by Adi Yogi Shiva in India over 5000 years ago and the yoga is also mentioned in the Rig Veda which is the oldest sacred text of the Hindus. I wish all the people all over the world “a very Happy Yoga day” and stay healthy.
