Kuwait to import 200,000 doses of Johnson & Johnson's vaccine

Ministry of Health is planning to import 200,000 doses of Johnson & Johnson's vaccine against the emerging corona virus.

According to local report, the Ministry of Health obtained the approval of the supervisory authorities to finalize the contract with a company to supply vaccine at a cost of two million dollars.

The report added that the contract comes after the Ministry of Health authorized the use of Johnson & Johnson vaccine against the Corona virus. This is the fourth vaccine approved by Kuwait after Pfizer, AstraZeneca and Moderna vaccines.

Johnson & Johnson's vaccine is expected to arrive the country by last quarter of 2021.
