In its meeting today (Thursday), the Kuwait cabinet decided to approve the recommendation of the Supreme Committee for Corona Emergency to allow the return of residents who received the anti-Coronavirus vaccine to Kuwait.

Expatriates, who completed the two doses of approved vaccines, can return to Kuwait from August 1st. They will be under 7 days home quarantine.

The Cabinet agreed not to allow citizens to travel unless they received two doses of the vaccine, with the exception of those who obtained a certificate that they could not obtain the vaccine and pregnant women, as of August 1st.

Cabinet also decided that, starting from June 27th, entry to shopping malls (with area of more than 6000 sq meter), cafes, restaurants, salons etc will be restricted only to those who completed their vaccination.
