Wednesday, June 16, 2021

Many parents have been wondering how to keep their kids engaged during this summer, given the travel restrictions. There are many ways for your child to spend the warmer months of summer, and what better way than Wonderland - a virtual summer camp, an initiative of the Dar Al Salam group of schools, comprising of Aspire Indian International School, Indian Central School and Pakistan English School, headed by the insightful and dynamic Chairman Mr. K. O. Mathew.

Wonderland was inaugurated virtually on 13th June, 2021 under the guidance of DAS Chairman Mr. K.O. Mathew, in the presence of Ms. Stephanie Mathew, the Community Engagement Executive and Principal of Indian Central School, Dr. Shanta Maria James.

Wonderland focuses on a wide variety of interpersonal and character- related skills that children will draw on long after summer camp is over. There are lots of activities that are established to foster self-reliance, independent thinking, teamwork and making friends.

Wonderland offers a variety of activities such as public speaking, story and reading, microgreen sessions, craft, music, dance and play, and many more that are designed to develop analytical, social, cognitive, and emotional skills in young children.

To ensure that the camp has a personal yet welcoming and interactive atmosphere, class sizes have been reduced, allowing students to work individually with the camp instructors.
