The Cabinet decided on Monday to start direct air flight to the United Kingdom from Sunday, June 13, with adherence to health precautions against the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

The Cabinet tasked the Directorate General of Civil Aviation to organize the direct flights to the UK (Kuwait-London-Kuwait) at a rate of one per week for each airways company, according to a statement posted by the Government Communication Center on Twitter.

Meanwhile, Al-Qabas reported that Kuwait is preparing a mechanism for the entry of Gulf nationals into the country. A proposal is being considered for this and will be submitted to the Council of Ministers soon, it reported.

The report indicated that the Ministry of Health is communicating with its counterparts in the GCC countries to unify standards, so that the Gulf citizen can travel and move comfortably between the Gulf countries.
