93% of Covid cases in hospitals are non-vaccinated people

Kuwait reported a noticeable reduction in hospital admission due to Covid-19 infection among the vaccinated people compared to those who have not taken vaccination, health sources said.

According to the latest statistics, more than 93% of patients infected with Covid 19 admitted to hospitals and ICUs have never taken their vaccine. Even though the vaccine does not prevent infection by 100%, but it reduces the chances of its occurrence and the health complications, health sources said.

Sources reiterated the need to register for vaccination and ensure that appointments are not missed, which will delay the community immunity.
