Mr. Babu Francis appointed as “Global Spokes person of Pravasi Legal Cell "

As per decision of the Governing Body of Pravasi Legal Cell- New Delhi, Adv.Jose Abraham Global President, Pravasi Legal Cell & Advocate-on-Record, Supreme Court of India appointed Mr. Babu Francis Olakkankil to the position of “ Global Spokesperson" of Pravasi Legal Cell. He has been serving as the Country head of Pravasi Legal Cell Kuwait chapter since 2019.

Pravasi Legal Cell is a registered Non-Governmental Organization in India with chapters, functioning in different countries and states of India . PLC members are retired Supreme court and high court Judges, practicing lawyers, social activists, academicians and public spirited citizens of India working to empower people with the power of law. PLC endeavors to mitigate a wide range of injustice faced by the common Indian citizen who cannot access justice. PLC aim at protecting the vitality and dignity of human life without discrimination on any ground like caste, religion, gender, language, place of birth etc..

PLC providing pro-bono and competent legal aid to Indians mainly abroad, those who cannot afford the process of getting due justice. A number of committed lawyers on PLC panel are ever willing to provide free legal aid and legal counseling to common man in various judicial forums. PLC is committed to spreading legal awareness among the public and legal advices for Indians with support of Lawyers and experts locally in each PLC chapter counties in association with leading academic institutions and organizations in Indian community. Pravasi Legal has been waging a number of legal battles in Supreme Court and High Courts to establish the fair rights of Indian expatriates in various spheres.

The new appointment of Mr. Babu Francis as the Global Spokesperson for the Pravasi Legal Cell is a great recognition of the services to community from Kuwait Chapter of the Pravasi Legal Cell, General Secretary Mr. Biju Stephen and Coordinator Mr. Anil Moodadi said in a press release.
