Bhavans SIS celebrates Mother’s Day

No language can express the power, beauty, and heroism of a mother's love.

The importance of mothers needs no retelling. To honour and celebrate them, every year a day is dedicated just for them. The day that recognizes the essence of a mother was celebrated in high spirits and merriment on 9 May 2021 by the Bhavans Smart Indian School and Bhavans Jack and Jill.

This being one of those occasions that none of us can afford to miss was zealously enjoyed by one and all. Teachers made an earnest effort to instil the importance of a mother in a child’s life through effective thematic presentations, moral stories and video clippings.

Heart-warming feelings filled the air with intimacy, gratitude, appreciation and acknowledgement - the little ones proudly echoed and enchanted the quote - “Mother will be our door to Paradise so, let’s love, respect and care for our mother every day.”

UKG kids passionately got involved in making beautiful greeting cards for their mothers by taking their palm print and LKG kids had something more special and unique to bring a smile on their beloved mother’s face. They passionately got involved in making greeting cards for their mothers with their cute little palms and thumb prints.

The earnestness of the students from grades 1&2 attained a new height as they handcrafted token of love by designing a photo frame with immense enthusiasm. Beautiful and decorative photo frames using best out of waste were done by all the children.

It was a pleasure watching the dynamic and energetic students of grades 3-5 documenting something unique and special. They recorded a short video with their mothers for fashion show ‘Super Mom Super Me’. Students of grades 6-11 recorded a short video on their favourite tunes with their adoring mothers. The teachers witnessed how lovingly the shining stars extended their gratitude to their pillars of strength. The outcome of their efforts was marvellous.

Mr. Mahesh Iyer, Principal of Smart Indian School congratulated all the students and teachers for making the day an enjoyable and memorable one. Ms. Rajni Menon, KG Supervisor, inspired the children to inculcate virtuous deeds and resort to ethical ways that make the parents happy and contented.
