No cases of fake PCR certificates reported among arriving passengers

No report had been received about any fake PCR reports among the passengers arriving the country since last August 2020 until now, local Arabic daily reported quoting officials.

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation, in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is studying the possibility of increasing the number of health laboratories responsible for issuing PCR certificates in many countries from which the number of arrivals to Kuwait increases, especially Turkey, the Gulf states, and others.

The source stated that the system for linking medical laboratories (MUNA) abroad is approved by the Ministry of Health and under the supervision of DGCA.
