“Yatra Naryastu poojanyte , ramante tatra devatah

Yatraitastu na poojyante sarvaastatraaphalaah kriyah”

This is a Sanskrit verse dedicated to woman which means that where a woman is respected, the place becomes God’s abode, by God’s abode, we mean, divine qualities, good deeds, peace and harmony. However, if this is not done, then all the actions turn out to be fruitless.

Every woman is unique. After all it is the god-gifted capability of a woman that enables her to carry a child and take a lot of pain to give birth to it and also, she mothers and nourishes it forever.

Moreover, women are capable and bold of making independent decisions.

Well, let me give you an example of an independent and a caring woman in our lives which is our mothers. She takes of her responsibilities boldly, of her family by doing household chores and going to her workplace daily, spends time with her children with their homeworks and other assignments, helps everyone when they need help, she can also control in difficulties and pain and she is level-headed and has a strong presence of mind to act accordingly in various scenarios.

This simple example proves that women are mentally and emotionally strong. They can face consequences and tolerate each and every pain and this characteristic makes them even more unique and attractive.

Today, women work in different fields like nursing, engineering, IT, aeronautics etc. tirelessly and enthusiastically. There are different women stars in history like Rani Lakshmi Bai, Sarojini Naidu, Rukmini Devi Arundale, Marie Curie, Raziya Sultana etc. who are known for their extraordinary capabilities and strengths.

Women are also highly respected by the society and also have equalized opportunities. For example, in my family, my mother, aunt, grandmother are revered and respected by every member of our family for their tireless efforts and also for fulfilling their responsibilities each day.

Women play a major role as a mother, sister and a daughter. As we know that every bud gloom, so women are like the emerging buds who bloom in the garden of our society which spread their fragrance and essence making the garden of our society even more sweet-smelling and enchanting.

So, what I would like to conclude is treat a woman in a better and a respectful way and do not harm or threaten. She isn't inferior or superior, but she is the way she is. Let us give a salute to all the women out in the world, who plays an important role in their family, occupation and also in the society.

‘’A woman is a full circle. Within her is the power to create, nurture and transform.’’-Diane Mariechild
