Ambassador condoles passing away of Sageer Thrikaripur

Indian Ambassador to Kuwait Sri Sibi George condoles the sudden demise of a prominent community member and social worker in Kuwait Sri Sageer Thrikkarippur.

"A renowned and committed social worker, he had worked tirelessly to help the needy among the Indian Community in Kuwait during his thirty years of stay in Kuwait", Ambassador Sri Sibi George said in his condolence message.

He was a very active and familiar face amongst the community and was always in the forefront in promoting social and cultural harmony," Ambassador added.

Several Indian associations in Kuwait also offered condolence on the passing away of Sageer Thrikaripur. KMCC Kuwait, ICF Kuwait, MES Kuwait, Risala Study Circle, Janata Cultural Center, and many others send condolence message on the sad demise of Sageer.

From the starting of Covid Pandemic, Sageer was at the forefront to support the community. Sageer and his wife were in the hospital after infected with Covid-19. His wife, Sauda lost her life two weeks back.

He was the recipient of Pravasi Bharathi (Kerala) Award in 2012 and Gharshom Pravasi Award in 2011.
