Saturday, March 6, 2021

Authorities removed an advertisement banner placed in front of a restaurant, which says that the "Restaurant is for sale as it is affected badly due to government decision on curfews".

The restaurant owner hung a huge banner in front of his Restaurant in the Khaitan area announcing that the Restaurant is for sale "because we were affected by the government's decisions, Close - open - total ban - open - closure - partial ban."

According to the Al-Rai Arabic newspaper report, authorities said that the government decision is in the public interest. It doesn't matter if any individual likes government decisions. "Restaurant is a commercial activity shop and not a place to express an individual opinion. The advertisement will be removed, and a violation will be registered against the owner," Al-Rai daily reported quoting authorities.

Daily, quoting shop owner, added that the owner is selling the Restaurant to pay off the debts they have accumulated due to government decisions of curfews and other restrictions in the face of Corona.
