Haripad Pravasi Association and BDK organized a blood donation camp as part of the Kuwait Liberation Day celebrations.

Kuwait City: On the 30th anniversary of Kuwait's liberation from the Iraqi invasion, the Haripad Pravasi Association and the BDK Kuwait Chapter jointly organized a blood donation camp in solidarity with the country. The camp, organized at the Blood Transfusion Center near the Central Blood Bank's Adan Hospital, was attended by 146 donors and 106 people who successfully donated blood. The camp was held under the strict control of the Ministry of Health regulations.

The camp was organized at the special request of the Central Blood Bank to address the blood shortage faced by the Kuwait Blood Bank in the context of Covid 19.

Haripad Association Women's Wing Chairperson Suvi Ajith formally inaugurated the blood donation camp. The function was presided over by Association President Aji Kuttappan. Kalesh B Pillai, Siby Purushothaman and Jayakrishnan extended a felicitation message. Manoj Mavelikkara (BDK Patron) and Nimish Kavalam (BDK Executive Member) handed over the memento for the successful organization of the camp to the Haripad Association officials. Raghubal BDK welcomed the gathering, and Harippad Association Treasurer Binu Yohannan thanked all the participants, especially the blood donors.

Harippad Association members Pradeep, Sajeev Appukuttan, Sulekha Aji, Suresh Sekhar, Rajeev S Pillai, Sarath, Sreejith, Jayadevan, Indu Suresh, Tulsi Jayakrishnan, Shari Sajeev and BDK activists Jayan Sadasivan, Surendramohan, Ajith, Jitin and Jayakrishnan led the blood donation drive.
