Idukki Association Kuwait held a Joint General Body Meeting.

The joint general body meeting of the Idukki Association Kuwait, which has been functioning as two for the last several years, was held on February 19 at 4 pm. The meeting was held on a virtual platform with Covid 19 restrictions in mind. The merger meetings were Led by Mr. Sunil Kumar, Mr.Jiji Mathew, Mr.Jose Thomas, Mr.Joseph Mookkanthottam, Mr.Bijoy Kurian, Mr.Baiju Paul, Mr.Preeth Jose, Mr.Bino Joseph and Mr.Prince Sebastian, under the recommendation of current patron Adv. Dean Kuriakose and former patrons, Adv. Joyce George and Adv. Francis George.

The presidency was decided by lot by mutual consent. The meeting started with a prayer by Mrs. Maria Joji and was welcomed by the outgoing General Secretary, Mr. Jose Thomas. The meeting was moderated by the outgoing General Secretary, Mr. Jobins Joseph.

The meeting had a silent prayer to pay condolences on the death of Mrs. Soumya Ajith, IAK Member. The outgoing presidents of both the parties, Mr. Sunil Kumar and Mr. Babu Sebastian, addressed the public meeting.

The Video Clip messages of the current Patron of the organization MP, Adv. Dean Kuriakose and former patrons Adv. PT Thomas, Adv. Francis George, and Adv. Joyce George’s were displayed at the Meeting.

Former President Mr. Shaju Paul served as the Election Commission to oversee the process of electing the new governing body. Mr. Jiji Mathew (President), Adv. Francis (Joint Auditor), Mr. Joseph Mookkenthottam, Mr. Shiju Babu, Mr. Preeth Jose, Mr. Bruce Chacko, Mr. Bino Joseph, Mr. Jithu Tom, Mr. Baiju Paul, Mr. Justin Joy, Mr. Jose PJ and Mr. Jobin Joseph as members of the Executive Committee and Advisory board members are Mr. Sunil Kumar, Mr. Jobins Joseph, Mr. Jose Thomas, Mr. Sojan Mathew, Mr. Bijoy Kurian, and Mr. Mathew A.M. The newly elected women’s forum committee members are Mrs. Jonesy Bino, Mrs. Jyothi Vinod, Mrs. Jasmine Aison, Mrs. Soumya Sebastian, Mrs. Anit Siby, Mrs. Usha Raveendran, Mrs. Mercy Robin, Mrs. Jeenu Jobin, Mrs. Archana Verma and Mrs. Manju Joseph. Mr. Jacob has been elected as the Social Media Coordinator by the General Assembly.
