Ban on entry of non-Kuwaitis to the country extended

In a surprise move, after all confusion about opening of direct flight from India and other countries, DGCA on Saturday night issued a new circular to extend the ban on entry of non-Kuwaitis to the county until further notice.

A lot of confusion was prevailing for the last two days regarding the entry of expatriates to the country starting from 21st. In its circular on Thursday, DGCA said that all arrivals from "high-risk" countries must go 14 days hotel quarantine and other 7 days hotel quarantine starting form 21st.

In a new circular DGCA said that it will continue not permitting non-Kuwaitis to enter the State of Kuwait, only Kuwaitis and their first-degree relatives and accompanied domestic workers will be allowed to enter the country.

All arrival passengers must register in Kuwait Mosafer platform and must have negative PCR certificate issued within 72 hours. All passengers must have 7 days hotel quarantine followed by 7 days home quarantine and should undergo 2 PCR test
