The pandemic and the lockdown had brought out the hidden talents in many as spending time inside one's house gave ample opportunity for one to explore their talent. Here is a ten-year-old who has completed around 70 portraits of celebrities during this lockdown. Prithvi Saju Ram not only draws them but also receives appreciation from those celebrities for his splendid work.

"My love for Drawing enabled me to use this pandemic period more productively," says Prithvi Saju Ram, a 10-Year-old, who has done around 70 Sketches of different personalities like Film Actors, Sports Persons, Prime Minister Narendra Modi etc. during this pandemic.

With the Covid-19 pandemic in the country and schools shut down, made the students and teachers continue with their learning and teaching activities from the comforts of their homes with online classes. Taking advantage of the pandemic and inspired by watching Kesh (a famous Youtuber), Prithvi started a 100 Sketches Challenge.

He started the challenge with cartoon portrait drawings and slowly got interested in real portrait sketching. He has so far completed around 70 Sketches of Personalities, Friends and Family Members.

He got a lot of appreciation from Film Actors on whom he had sketched portraits. Manju Warrier - a national award-winning Malayalam Film Actress and Tovino Thomas, a Malayalam actor, sent personal voice messages to Prithvi appreciating his talent. Prayagha Martin, a Malayalam actress, shared Prithvi's work on her Instagram page. Celebrity Kuwaiti Singer Mubarak Al-Rashed personally appreciated him recently by visiting his house. He had also shared Prithvi's sketch on his Social Media page.

"I felt happy and motivated to do more arts with perfection," says Prithvi after receiving so many appreciations.

Prithvi started drawing at the age of 5. Started with Cartoons, then sceneries, paintings and now he does Sketches professionally.

In the year 2020, he attended acrylic techniques classes for four months from a Shilpa Sharma Tyagi and later could not continue due to Covid 19 pandemic. He has been attending online drawing classes taught by a teacher in India named Mr. Vinod Clarie from the last three months.

"I learnt the sketches by myself. When I complete each sketching, I learn from my mistakes and improve them in my next sketch. I spend around 3 to 4 hours on drawing daily" says Prithvi.

"My classes finish by noon, and I have enough free time to study and spend time on my sketching," says Prithvi on how he manages his Studies and drawings.

Other than drawing, he loves cooking. Prithvi is inspired by Kesh, a famous Youtuber and Bob Ross, a famous artist. He wants to become a famous artist/animator and make an animation movie when he grows up.

Prithvi is a 5th Standard student at ICSK Amman School. His Father Mr Saju V Ram is a Jotun paint dealer, Mother Mrs Renjini Chandran is a Sr. Accountant in Sharaf Shipping Co. He has an elder brother Aryan who is studying 8th Standard in ICSK.
