Nafo Celebrated Republic Day

As India celebrated its 72nd Republic day, with the much spoken about annual parade, award ceremonies and displays, the Indian community in Kuwait too expressed their solidarity with their homeland. A virtual program to celebrate the day was organized by NAFO Ladies wing. The program showcased the talents of the young NAFO Kids. The soulful rendition of a patriotic song by the little ones set the mood for the day. Young NAFO Kids paid a tribute to the brave freedom fighters with their powerful speeches. The new generation was enlightened on the importance of the national anthem by Ms. Anju Ginu. Mrs. Anita Murali spoke about the qualities of a true Patriot thereby instilling the love towards one's country, in the children. Felicitation speeches were rendered by the General Secretary, Mr. Vijay Menon, the Advisory Board member, Mr. Vijayan Nair and the Ladies Wing Chief Coordinator, Mrs. Sheeba Shaiju. The end of the program was with the melodious Vande Mataram being played. The event was a success and NAFO stood true to its cause of keeping the Indian culture and values alive.
