Salary cut for employees who violate preventive health measures

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) announced the imposition of penalty, including a deduction in salary for those who violate health requirements and preventive measures to confront the Coronavirus.

According to a circular issued by CSC, it will impose disciplinary measures on violators as per Article 60 of the Civil Service Decree.

Any employee who violates the precautionary health measures will receive a warning. For repeating violation, action will be taken, including deducting the salary for one day and increasing after that with a maximum cut of 15 days salary in a month.

CSC called on all government agencies to take all disciplinary measures against employees who violate health requirements.
