INGENIUM 2021-An Aspire Indian International School Virtual Literary Festival

Aspire Indian International School, a Delhi World Public School, initiated a virtual literary festival - INGENIUM 2021 that was only one of its kind to open to students of all Indian schools in Kuwait in the month of January and has attracted the best talents of the host and participating schools, celebrating the immense potential and talent showcased by the young students. The purpose of INGENIUM was to connect with the children, who enjoy a good book and the creative scene, and who also appreciate the hidden gems in the world of language.

INGENIUM serves as a platform for young students to hone their talent and creative skills, foster individuality as well as inculcate team spirit. The theme of the festival was based on different areas of literature and grammar. All the children enjoyed all the events and delved into the world of English language. And it was not only about variety of events alone, it was also about all the different forms that express and convey the “spoken word”.

The festival was marked by a three Saturday event held on 16th Jan, 23rd Jan and 30th Jan. The participants indulged in creative and innovative rounds of poetry, questioning, idioms, enacting diction and several intelligently designing events that encouraged students to think on their own work independently. Each event enabled the kids to experience something new. They learnt new words, which helped build their vocabulary. These new experiences will surely help them to develop a creative and curious mind. These new experiences could be the beginning of ideas which the child could develop into stories or creative writing.

Within six months of its inception Aspire Indian international School organized an event of this magnitude which saw the participation of over 1000 students. Kudos to Team ASPIRE

INGENIUM 2021 was a n immense source of incentive and encouragement for the growing breed of talented teenagers and generates a lot of enthusiasm.
