46 illegal residents caught in inspection campaign

Authorities carried out an inspection campaign at several locations in Farwaniya and Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh and arrested 46 workers for violating the labour laws. They were working in unlicensed shops, restaurants, furniture and clothing stores without proper residency.

According to report, the campaign against illegal workers has started again and will increase its pace in coming days.

The ministry had extended the deadline for illegal residents to rectify their status. Anyone not utilizing this opportunity will be subjected to legal action, authorities warned.
