Deadline extended till March 2nd for illegal residents to rectify status

Interior Minister Sheikh Thamer Al-Ali extended the period to amend residence status for illegal residents to March 2nd.

In view of exceptional circumstances the country is going through due to spread of the Coronavirus, disruption of air traffic, suspension and reduction of business in many sectors, Interior Minister issued a decision to extend the amnesty period.

Violators of residency law can rectify their status or leave the country without facing legal cases during this period. Residence violators who don’t amend their status will be subjected to penalties.
