Indian Embassy organized Musical Evening on Republic Day

The Embassy of India in Kuwait organized a mesmerizing Musical Evening virtually on Republic Day of India, which was attended by large number of Indians online.

Ambassador Sri Sibi George and Smt Joice Sibi inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp. Ambassador in his opening remark thanked Kuwait for hosting large number of Indian expatriates. “I dedicate this evening’s patriotic songs program to our soldiers who protect our borders and fight the cross-border terrorism that we face every day”, he said.



Ambassador also thanked the Media for issuing special Republic Day supplement on the day and also thanked the business partners who supported them to bring out these supplements, irrespective of the Covid 19 challenges they themselves face.

The members of “Kuwait Chamber Chorale” mesmerized the audience with a collection of patriotic songs. The event was held at Embassy auditorium following all the Covid protocols.



The evening begins with the mesmerizing band set performed by “Burhani Guard”. They were performing band set during Republic day and Independence Day at embassy premises for the past many years.



The whole event was live telecasted on Embassy social media pages, which was watched by large number of community members.
