Saradhi Kuwait organized blood donation camp jointly with BDK as part of Republic Day celebrations

Saradhi Kuwait organized a Blood Donation Camp associated with Blood Donors Kerala Kuwait Chapter in connection with the 22nd Anniversary and the 72nd Republic Day Celebrations of India.
More than 200 donors donated blood at the camp held at Central Blood Bank's Blood Transfusion Center near the Adan Hospital on Friday, January 22 from 9 AM to 1 PM.
The camp was conducted in full compliance with the Covid-19 standards. The camp was organized at the special request of the Central Blood Bank to address the blood shortage faced by the Kuwait Blood Bank in the context of Covid-19 pandemic situation.
Saradhi President Sajeev Narayanan formally inaugurated the camp which started with the Prayer 'Daivadashakam' penned by Sree Narayana Guru. Raghubal BDK welcomed the gathering. Saradhi General Secretary Biju CV explained Saradhi Kuwait's activities towards 'Service to Humanity' in his introductory address. Saradhi Trust Chairman Suresh K, BDK Patron Manoj Mavelikkara, Saradhi Central Vanithavedhi Secretary Preetha Satheesh, Saradhi Trust Secretary Vinod CS, Saradhi Vice President NS Jayakumar and Saradhi Advisory Board member Suresh KP were present on the function and extended a felicitation message.
BDK Treasurer TM Ramesan, Manoj Mavelikkara and BDK Advisory Board member Rajan Thottathil handed over the plaque of appreciation to the Saradhi Central office bearers for the successful organization of the blood donation drive. The Blood Donation Camp Coordinator and the Saradhi Hassawi executive Member, Dinu Kamal, thanked the organizers and all those who participated in the event, especially all the blood donors, to make the camp a success.
The poster of the "Nirakoottu" - Online Painting Competition to be held on February 19 under Saradhi Abbasiya East Unit's leadership was released at the function. Saradhi Abbasiya East Unit Convener Sanal Kumar handed over a colourful poster of "Nirakoottu" to the Saradhi Central office-bearers.
The Saradhi Hassawi South unit spearheaded Saradhi Kuwait's blood donation camp. The managing committee members Shaji Sreedharan, Arun Prasad, Vijayan KC, Ashwin CV, Jitha Manoj, Anila Sudhin, Maya Anu, Hitha Suhas and Arun Mohandas, coordinated the events. The BDK members Nimish, Sreekumar, Nalinakshan, Ajith Chandran, Jolly, Rosmin, Mahalakshmi and Beena, led the camp.
