About 300 work permits of expats are cancelled daily

According to statistics published by the Public Authority of Manpower, 3,527 work permits were cancelled in the last 13 days, ie from 12th Jan to 24th Jan. This translate into around 300 work permits are getting cancelled almost daily for various reasons.

According to statistics, 1,859 expats cancelled final work permits to travel back to their home country in last 13 days. 230 cancelled work permits due to death of expats. 1,538 residences were cancelled as they were outside the country and it was not renewed.
