Fish shop closed for manipulating prices

Officials from the Ministry of Trade and Industry sealed a shop in the fish market for manipulating the prices of fish during the auction.

Ministry officials clarified that all types of fish are available in the market, including the local and the imported ones, and their prices are affordable for everyone. Strict action will be taken against anyone trying to manipulate the prices, officials warned.

Between 5 - 40 tons of imported fish enter the Kuwait market on a daily basis in addition to about 4-6 tons of local fish.
