As per the Council of Ministers' decision, which instructs the airlines to be charged for PCR tests for all arriving passengers, the airlines are planning to charge additional 50 KD for incoming passengers as the cost for PCR test.

According to sources, all incoming passengers will go through two PCR test, one on arrival and second after 7 days. The concerned authorities have reached an initial price of KD 25 per PCR examination, and two tests total to KD 50. Reports suggest both PCR fees will be added to the ticket of passengers who are coming to Kuwait.

The local private sector will undertake the PCR test, not to increase the burden on the Ministry of Health.
