Severe cold wave expected from Wednesday

Meteorologist Muhammad Karam warned that the country is going to experience severe cold wave from coming Wednesday, and the temperature will drop to zero in the desert areas. The temperature could reach below 4 degrees Celsius in residential areas, he said.

The cold wave will continue from Wednesday evening until next Saturday, due to the Siberian air coming from western Russia, accompanied by northwest winds, Mr Karam said.
