Traffic department start issuing sticker number plates for vehicles

The General Traffic Department started issuing European style Sticker number plates for vehicles as an alternative to the metal plate.

The number plate stickers will be attached directly to the vehicle’s body for vehicles that do not have a metal base for number plates.

Whoever requires this new sticker plates need to send a separate request to General Traffic Department to replace their metal plates with stickers. The sticker plates are only disbursed to owners of vehicles that do not have a base in the front pillar.

The new plate is made of a reflective sticker that contains a watermark of the Kuwait logo and the text KUWAIT to the left of the panel.

This will be very useful for the owners of modern vehicles, and some classic vehicles that do not have a base for placing the plate.
