Seventh Technical Presentation on Introduction to FMC & TFM in Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing

ASNT-Kuwait Section of American Society For Non-Destructive Testing Inc., organized their 7th Technical presentation in the current program year (July 2020 to June 2021) on 22th December 2020 on Google meet. The title of the presentation was “Introduction to FMC (Full Matrix Capture) & TFM (Total Focusing Method) in Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing” By Mr. Dhananjaya Mani Tripathi (QA/QC Dept Manager, Company NDT Level III), M/s Alghanim International- Oil & Gas Division, Kuwait.

The technical presentation event was on virtually through Google meet. The technical presentation attracted all section members and guests for sharing of practical experience. It was wonderful explanation on FMC to collect the data in elementary A-Scan and composing the data by TFM. It was explained that FMC-TFM is very useful to capture smallest indication in pixel and characterize precisely. It’s a new technique which is very useful for NDE Professional gaining knowledge. The ASNT Kuwait Section appreciated the presenter presenting and sharing such a valuable basic requirements of Full Matrix Capture technique.

Mr. M. Taquideen and other Section Officers requested to Chairman and Vice Chairman to participate in GNDT Expo 2021 which is scheduled on 09th Feb 2021. Chairman and Vice Chairman accepted the request and advised to proceed for the registration and other formalities.
