Covid-19 vaccine shipment arrived at Kuwait Airport

First shipment of the Covid-19 vaccine arrived at Kuwait Airport today morning.

The process of Vaccination will begin by the end of this week. More than 400 employees of Ministry of Health have been trained to deal with the vaccination process.

Earlier, the Minister of Health Sheikh Dr. Basil Al-Sabah explained that the first stages of vaccination will be for all health care providers, front line workers and those in the age group older than 65 years. Remaining stages include all individuals and groups.

He mentioned that more than 73,000 people had registered for the vaccination on the electronic pre-registration website.
