“Kala (Art) Kuwait” Delegation met H.E. Mr. Sibi George, the Ambassador of India to Kuwait

“Kala (Art) Kuwait” Leaders visited the Indian Embassy and met H.E. Mr. Sibi George, the Ambassador of India to Kuwait.

The delegations have exchanged various thoughts and subjects facing by the Indian Community in Kuwait. They have raised several points for Embassy’s kind consideration and favorable action, including direct returns to Kuwait from India, Covid-19 Vaccine shall be made available to Indian workers as well in Kuwait once it permitted in the State of Kuwait, request the Embassy for providing free air tickets to the needy and deserving cases such as pathetic patient and also the quick repatriation of the deportees etc.

The Indian workers especially the low-salaried workers are forced to extend their annual leave plan since a year due to the current pandemic Covid-19. The reason for holding their leave is that there are certain conditions that they need to travel through another country and stay there for 15 days in quarantine and thereafter another 14 days quarantine here in Kuwait as well. Because of this situation most of the workers are in depression since long time. The ultimate solution to overcome this situation is to allow returns directly to Kuwait from India. Kala (Art) Kuwait delegates have requested the Ambassador for his kind and appropriate intervention in this regard.

H. E. the Ambassador of India explained his intervention to address the issues to the authorities of the State of Kuwait. Also he conveyed his endeavor to make every ones visit to the Embassy a pleasant experience and to continue to improve the consular services and welfare measures.

The delegates expressed their pleasure to warm welcome H. E. and appreciate the efforts of Indian Embassy for the remedial measures being taken for the welfare of Indian Nationals during the current pandemic Covid-19 and the various initiatives such as the improvement in consular services, Open House for conveying grievances of expatriates and to connect all Indian expertise in various fields to share knowledge and thoughts.

The leaders briefed about the Organization’s annual programs, activities and their prestige event ‘Niram 2020’ Children’s Day Painting Competition at online platform being held on 13th November 2020, on the occasion of Children’s Day, the birth day of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of Independent India.

The delegation was consisted of Kala (Art) Kuwait President Mr. Mukesh V. P., General Secretary Mr. Siva Kumar, Treasure Mr. Hassan Koya Executive Members Mr. Jaison Joseph, Mr. Sunil Kumar, Mr. Ragesh P. and Mr. Ashraf Vithura.
