The Euphonious bird of ILOA crowned as the “Singing Star”

ILOA has always revitalized the precious talents of the institution and has burnished their forte. Even during the hardest times, our students were not bewildered and they continued to manifest their flair, gifting us numerous proud moments. Here once again we are truly blessed to have witnessed another stroke of genius, Agna Biju of class VIII A, who bagged the runners up trophy in the Online singing contest “Singing Stars”, organized by The Indian Women’s Association, Kuwait to support the children academically in the midst of the pandemic crisis.

The competition was conducted via Zoom and Facebook in 3 rounds- Preliminary round for shortlisting (through recorded video clips) followed by the quarter-finals on 13th November 2020, semi-finals on 20th November 2020 and finals on 4th December 2020. Agna Bjiu pulled off a brilliant score in all the rounds and cinched her position as one of the lead singers.The winners were awarded by honourable Mrs. Joice Sibi (Wife of the Ambassador of India to Kuwait) on 12th December 2020 at Indian Embassy Auditorium.

The pride and mainstay of Indian Learners’ Own Academy, Principal, Mrs Asha Sharma extended her admiration and appreciation to Agna, referring to her as “The Nightingale of ILOA”. She also adverted on bringing in more talents to the front to repeat the same success story in future.
