Two brilliant students of Bhavans Indian Education School, Kuwait, excelled at ‘Causa Scientia - a Virtual Lab Station’, an interschool competition proffered by The Global Edge School, Hyderabad. The certificates of appreciation were bestowed upon Shreya Varsha Arun and Vishnu Balram on December 13, 2020 for their outstanding performance at the event. The gifted duo was shortlisted for the grand final presentation that was held on November 10, 2020. Shreya Varsha won the ‘The Young Scientist Award’ and also a special appreciation for the title of her project ‘Anti Bacto Roaches – an Organic Manure’.

The participants of the event were divided into 3 categories and they had to select appropriate topics related to Science, linking them to working models or investigation-based projects. They had to analyze and interpret their findings, draw conclusions on their topics’ significance in Science and create the final projects that had to be presented through self-explanatory videos and documentations. Within a short span of 3 to 4 days, the highly qualified subject experts and the distinguished panel of judges of the event shortlisted the best entries that could qualify for the finals. The final events for the 3 categories were held on three different days. The top 12 shortlisted videos were relayed during the main event. The selected students had to answer the pertinent questions put forth by the judges. The top three winners were finally declared based on the jury's decision.

The management, the staff and the student community of IES extolled the winners for their astounding performance that grabbed the covetous recognition. Once again it has been conclusively proven that notching up conspicuous success in academics and interschool competitions is distinctly the hallmark of Bhavanites.
