More than 960,000 people using digital Civil ID using Kuwait Mobile ID App

More than 960,000 users, including individuals, government institutions and private businesses, are using the "Kuwait Mobile ID" mobile application launched by the Public Authority for Civil Information - PACI, Deputy Prime Minister, Interior Minister and State Minister for Cabinet Affairs Anas Al-Saleh said while highlighting his ministries accomplishments at a public briefing on Wednesday.

The most prominent achievement of PACI is the launch of the contactless digital identification system. PACI also continues to deliver civil ID cards to homes, with some 2,500 cards delivered a day, minister said.

The ministry has been able to switch more than 70 percent of its services to electronic means. As a result, more than six million transactions were completed within a short period, minister said.
