Kollam Jilla Pravasi Samajam organized Blood Donation Drive

Kuwait, Kollam Jilla Pravasi Samajam organized Blood Donation Drive on the occasion of the 13th Anniversary in collaboration with Blood Donors Kerala - Kuwait Chapter. The camp was also scheduled to pay tributes to the late Emir of Kuwait, the revered leader, His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah.

Kollam Jilla Pravasi Samajam held the remarkable blood donation drive with the participation of 120 total donors at the Blood Transfusion Center near Adan Hospital from 9 am to 1 pm on Friday, 20th November 2020. There was also a virtual musical live by the Delights Music Band.

Dr Rajesh Ponathil officially inaugurated the donation drive, and Samajam Vice President Dr Subu Thomas presided over the function. Mr Raghubal BDK welcomed the gathering and greeted the donors. Samajam General Secretary Mr Alex Mathew, Patrons Mr Jacob Channapetta, Mr Joy John Thuruthikkara, BDK Patron Mr Manoj Mavelikkara, Mr Rajan Thottathil, ICSG Chief Coordinator Mr Suresh KP and Blood Donation Camp Program Coordinator Mr Jayan Sadasivan extended a felicitation message.

The BDK Members Yamuna, Biji, Rosmin, Soyous, Jaikrishnan Beena and Jolly volunteered their services to the success of the blood donation drive.

D, Mr Baiju Mithunam, Mr Valsaraj, Mr Abdul Wahid, Mr Laji Abraham, Mr Sajimon, Vanitha Vedhi Convener Mrs Reeni Binoy, Mr Reji Mathai, Mr Salil Varma, Mr Varghese Vaidyan, along with Mrs Ranjana Binil, Mrs Asha Prashanth and Mrs Liny Jayan, Samajam Unit Executive Members and Team BDK led the blood donation drive. Treasurer Mr Thampi Lukose expressed his gratitude at the end of the blood donation drive.
